9:30AM-1:45PM Easy Lima
Adults:$49.95; Tour Code: CA2-330; Activity Level: Moderate

Points of Interest: Plaza Mayor. Lima, the fifth largest city in Latin America, is widely considered to be one of its most picturesque. Sit back and relax on an easy four-hour tour that requires little walking. Gaze out the window as the ever-changing panorama of city sights takes you back in time to the days of the Spanish conquistadors. Your first photo stop is at the Plaza Mayor, located in the heart of Lima's Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, see the colossal Cathedral of Lima, whose dramatic exterior is dominated by two soaring towers and three massive gateways. Stop again to admire the ornate Archbishop's Palace, City Hall and Presidential Palace. Continuing on to San Isidro, a stylish residential neighborhood, then venture into the Miraflores district, one of Lima's oldest. At the Parque del Amor, stretch your legs and wander through the love-themed sculpture garden, enjoying the seaside views. Return to port with a camera filled with memories.

What you might think Lima, Peru, looks like. And some of it does...

But then there are also many dozens of high rise beachfront condos and apartments...

Much of Lima, Peru, is middle class along with quite a few wealthy. The poor tend to live up in the hills outside the downtown city. We toured much of the city and did not see any homeless anywhere. On our evening tour we saw people strolling the streets everywhere, including women and children walking by themselves. Many shops had merchandise displayed on the street in front of their shops with no fear of anyone just grabbing and running off with merchandise. Most of Lima, Peru, is pretty safe even at night. Most of the city is quite beautiful with many parks and public areas. Grafitti seems to be limited to blank walls and much of it is more like works of art.

Many historic buildings are 200 to well over 400 years old.

Museo Catedral De Lima

Plaza Mayor de Lima - One of the birthplaces of the city of Lima as well as the core of the city. Located in the Historic Center of Lima, it is surrounded by the Government Palace, Lima Metropolitan Cathedral, Archbishop's Palace of Lima, the Municipal Palce, and the Palacio de la Union.

6:00pm Caymus Vineyards Winemaker Dinner
US $140 Per Person
Savoy Dining Room, Deck 5 Midship

Princess is launching the Caymus Vineyards Winemaker Dinner fleetwide, which features a unique food menu paired with the wines selected personally by Chuck Wagner, owner and winemaker of Caymus Vineyards. The winery is also curating our wine list for Crown Grill, where guests can access their entire portfolio of 17 iconic labels from Napa, Sonoma and Suisun valleys.

Chuck Wagner and his late parents, Lorna and Charlie started Caymus Vineyards in 1972. They were a family of farmers with roots in Napa Valley dating back to the 1850s. Today, the family's two cabernet sauvignons -- Caymus Napa Valley and Caymus Special Selection -- are among the region's most celebrated wines.

Chuck now works alongside two of his children, Charlie and Jenny, and the family produces diverse wines from Napa Valley, other parts of California and beyond. Continually pursuing new ideas, they feel extremely fortunate to spend their days farming grapes and making wine.
