Current Location Of Our Ship
In Ushuaia (Tierra Del Fuego), Argentina

This is pretty much as far south as one can get in the Americas. It is not far from Antarctica. I was wondering why our ship stopped for clearance by the Chilean authorities when we are still in Argentina, but I guess we had to go through Chilean waters during the night before reaching this port. The border between Chili and Argentina goes right down the middle of this waterway.

Port Of Ushuaia, Argentina

These are photos taken from our cabin balcony of Ushuaia. The gangways and port to get off are located on the other side of the ship from our cabin.

International Cafe
Deck 5 Midship
Open 24 Hours

I forgot to put the request on our door last night for free morning delivery of breakfast, so I went to the International Cafe and picked up a couple of egg muffins. They are sort of like McDonald's Egg McMuffins. Usually we just have Mueslix cereal with skim milk along with a cup of melon, tomato juice and coffee, but this will have to due for this morning. The buffet opens for breakfast at 6am, but I didn't feel like walking all the way to the other end of the ship this morning.

Southernmost Railway & Ensenada Bay
Tour Time: 12:30pm-3:30pm Tour Code: USH215C
Activity: Easy

Step aboard the vintage railcars of the "southernmost railway" for an incomparable journey into Tierra del Fuego National Park. Built to bring lumber from the forests to Ushuai's penal colony, the End of the World Train is a popular heritage railway experience. Marvel at the wonderous interplay of waterfalls, forests, mountains and rivers and enjoy a photo stop along the approximately 45-minute journey. Upon completion of your train ride, a drive to Ensenada Bay offers superb views of the Beagle Channel. Named after the ship that carried English naturalist, Charles Darwin, the channel boasts towering snow capped mountains. You'll also be able to gaze out upon Navarino and Hoste Islands, the nearest land to the Antarctic continent. With the opportunity to shop for souvenirs at the train station, you are sure to return home with a suitcase of memories.

5:00pm & 7:30pm Good Spirits at Sea™ Cocktail Experience
Good Spirits at Sea, Deck 5 Midship

Above Left: Sandia En Fuego - Don Julio Reposado Tequilla, Serrano Pepper, Watermelon, Lime, Agave. Spices release the body's natural endorphins. After we mix them with gorgeous watermelons that grow in the Yucatan climate, don't be surprised when this tequila-based cocktail causes you to smile after you take your first sip.

Above Right: Coco-Cafe - Gosling Rum, Espresso, Coconut Cream, Kosher Salt, Grated Nutmeg and Chocolate. In 1715, Arabica coffee was introduced to the Dominican Republic and has grown into one of the country's greatest exports. We've combined this fine coffee with Dominican coconuts and a spectacular Rum to craft a drink that tells the story of the tropical nation.
