"Love Boat" was a popular TV series from many years ago based on a Princess cruise ship. A new "Love Boat" TV series was launched also based on a Princess cruise ship and Princess is celebrating this re-launch with year long celebrations and "Love Boat" merchandise. On many cruise ships they also have a "White & Gold" Party to celebrate the re-launch.
This super Tuscan blend has creamy, mild but firm tannins, is well balanced, with medium acidity, body and complexity. Loads of ripe black cherries, earth, tobacco, and leather notes.
This is our favorite wine on this cruise so far, followed next by Duckhorn Paraduxx (Napa Valley, California, AUD Glass $15 Bottle $72). They describe Duckhorn Paraduxx as: Deep, dark and luxurious, this wine offers alluring aromas of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, currant and cocoa powder. Both of these wines appear to only be available from the Vines Wine Bar.
When we purchased the Princess Plus Package many months ago for this cruise, it included any drinks up to USD $12. The difference would be charged for any drinks over that amount. Since that time, Princess seems to have raised that limit to USD $15. That translates to AUD $22. Up until now they have not charged us for any drinks we have purchased up to AUD $22. We have purchased a few drinks over AUD $22 and they have charged us the difference, unitl today. The Gaja Ca'Marcanda Promis is listed at AUD $22.50 per glass which means they should have charged us AUD $0.50 per glass. But instead they charged us AUD $3.50 per glass. We haven't figured that one out yet.
