The L2 (and also L3) Light Rail took us directly from across the street from The Great Southern Hotel to the Circular Quay Overseas Passenger Terminal. Above is the view that greeted us the moment we stepped off the light rail train!
As we rolled our 3 suitcases towards the ship we just had to stop to take the above photo on the left that shows Barbara with our cruise ship on the left and the Sydney Opera House on the right. The above photo on the right, again of the Sydney Opera Houase, was taken from the World Market Buffet on the Lide Deck, 16th Floor, of the ship. The buffet was huge with a great selection of food. Barbara and I had a light lunch in the buffet while waiting for our cabin to be ready.
