I'm not sure why the Karaoke event has to end at 11pm. There were twice as many waiting to sign up to sing as could be accommodated in just one hour. A riot almost broke out in the sign up line. There were no other events scheduled in this room after the Karaoke so I don't see why they could not have just kept it going for another hour. The room was packed with people ready to enjoy another hour of Karaoke. Some people were shouting: "Let's just keep going!" when it got to 11:30pm, but that was not possible without the Karaoke sound and display equipment.
We loved AJ Clarke in the Piano Bar, but I'm not sure he understands what playing until "late" means. If Princess pre-planned the piano bar to end at midnight every night, which it has, they should list "12:00am" as the ending time, not list "late" as the ending time. To me, listing "late" as the ending time means there isn't a specific time to when it will end. At Carnival's piano bar, it lists that it ends "late" and it means "late". Usually this is interpreted as when almost all of the audience has left, or 1:30am, whichever comes first. Every night the Crooner's Lounge is totally full with hardly an empty seat to be found at midnight when the music ends. Everyone is there ready for more music. Princess definitely has a lack of late night music. One the clock strikes midnight, all the entertainers turn into pumpkins. The only continuing music is a DJ in the Vista Lounge, but he plays more like hip hop and rap; not our type of music. And really not live music.
