The ship had to make an emergency medical stop in Cabo San Lucas. Someone on the ship needed urgent medical attention. Fortunately the ship was very close to Cabo when this happened. Thus it did not take the ship very long to detour to Cabo. A boat was sent to our ship to pick up that passenger. I assume they transported the passenger to a local medical facility. This cruise is not scheduled into Cabo until Thursday, December 1, 2022, when we will be heading back towards Long Beach, California.
Also in the above photos you can see the Discovery Princess cruise ship. This is the ship that we will be on from December 28, 2022 to January 7, 2023 for a 10 day Mexican cruise which will include New Years Eve and New Years Day.
Above Right: No Ardbeg At This Bar So Purchased Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky instead. It was $14.88, plus $4 to make it a double = $18.88, plus service charge and $2 tip. It was quite good but I still like the smokey peaty Scotch like Ardbeg from Islay.
