A Square in Jerez De La Frontera

They gave us 30 to 45 minutes of free time near this square, but almost all the shops, cafes, and restaurants were closed and just in the process of getting ready to open up at noon. We wandered around most of the time until we stopped at the below La Guinda Cafeteria Heladeria (Pan y Pasteles) and had an Espresso and a Spanish Omelette in a sandwich.

We tried to make a reservation for dinner at the Crown Grill on our in cabin TV but it showed that no reservations were available until 9:30 PM. Normally you can make a dinner reservation on the Medallion App, but that feature along with most features on the Medallion App have not been working on this cruise. However, when we went to the Crown Grill at 5:30 PM to see if there was any availability, we saw that it was just about empty. Probably because everyone that tried to make a reservation found that none was listed as available until 9:30 PM. The Crown Grill pretty much remained empty until 7:00 PM when it became a lot more, but not completely full. I'm sure a lot more passengers would have come here for dinner between 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the Crown Grill had they known reservations were available.
