As we were heading by The Nook Whisky Bar we notice they had a special Wine Flight offering. We decided to stop by to participate. Since it was just three 2 ounce pours it was only equal to one more full glass of wine.
Notice that in the Nook Whisky Bar sign they spelled "Whisky" the way it is spelled in Scotland, without the letter "e". However, on their list of Whiskey Flights, they spelled it with the "e".
Princess is offering passengers two options for their refund:
Option A: 80% refund of the original base cruise fare plus 80% Future Cruise Credit. The refund is the value of the part of the cruise that was cancelled plus an additional 80% in Future Cruise Credit.
Option B: 200% Future Cruise Credit of the original base cruise credit. This is 250% of the value of the part of the cruise that was cancelled.
Barbara and I selected Option B as we have a 111 Day World Cruise booked on the Island Princess starting in January 2020. This will cut down the cost of that cruise significantly.
This is a wine deal offered by Princess. We did not buy it as we had already brought 6 bottles on wine onboard with us paying the $15 AUD corkage on 4 of the bottles. Princess allows each passenger to bring one bottle in their carry-on luggage without a corkage fee as long as it is consumed in their cabin. Also, we prefer some of the other wines on the Main Dining Room Wine List that are not in the Matre d' Hotel Wine Club package.
