Make a pilgrimage to Santa Maria de Montserrat, a monastery near Barcelona and one of Spain's key religious sites, during this visit. Due to traffic delays we did not have time to take the cog-wheel train up to the Montserrat Monastery. Instead our bus drove all the way up to it, but we would be taking the cog-wheel train back down.
The cable car can take you up or down the mountain to the Montserrat Monastery. We did not have time to do that. Next time we are in Barcelona we'd like to spend more time exploring here and ride the cable car as well as take the funicular to the top of the mountain. The cog-wheel train base station can be reached by train from Barcelona.
Hola Barcelona - Best Tourist Shop that we found in Barcelona. We purchased a suitcase here in order to bring home all the souvenirs that we've purchased on this 44 day worldwide trip away from home. I could not find their website or address on the internet. If you search for "Hola Barcelona" it just brings up places that sells tours and tickets. This location did not sell any tours or tickets, just souvenirs, suitcases, etc.
Pura Brasa has restaurants in many places in the world including Barcelona and Singapore.
