On thing we found disappointing about the Cunard Queen Mary 2 was that there was not much late night entertainment.
The bars and lounges seemed to close up early compared to other cruise ships. My wife and I are late night people. We often
sleep until noon or later, but are then up very late. We love jazz, blues and classic rock but are also open to other types
of music. We'll go to many of the live music venues on a cruise starting in the late afternoon and will continue to hunt them
down until late evening. Many cruise ships will have a piano bar with singing that stays open until midnight or beyond. We
will often stay until the performance ends at midnight or later. On the Cunard Queen Mary 2 the live music ended much
earlier and we were left with nowhere to go in the late evening. It is very likely that we will not book another cruise on the
Queen Mary 2 and maybe not on any other Cunard cruise because of this lack of late night live music.
